Description
This is a cover I did for the German fanzine "Maniac Mansion Mania". It has run since 2005 and they asked me to do a cover for a 10-year-issue.
The fanzine mostly centers on the "Maniac Mansion" adventure game, its fangames and also "Day of the Tentacle".
So I used the Darth Vader calendar from "Day of the Tentacle" as a reference to those years passed! (protagonist Bernard describes the calendar by saying that it is his favorite movie) I liked that idea.
2005: We had "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" with the infamous scene of Vader screaming "NOOO!!!"
2015: Now we have "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" with Kylo Ren.
Starring Razor from "Maniac Mansion" and LaVerne from "Day of the Tentacle". And of course Bernard in the front.
Fully drawn in Photoshop.
"Zehn Jahre" means "Ten years" in German and "Nein" means "No".
